I totally agree. Writing is our own. It is a solitary experience for the most part. It is a great part of what I love about it.
It isn't lonely, because we have the company of our characters.
And the creative outlet, the mental stimulation, the improvement, it is our own.

Yeah, but you have the same sort of stuff and I see you still plugging away as well ^_^.

The funny thing is, without the child and job and all the other stuff I might have never started writing again.

I kind of felt the need to assert myself as an individual against all the other demands on me (mother, employee, partner, etc).

The writing is just about me, and only about me. It's a great thing.

What I love most is that you are really plugging away.
I know you have a job and a chid, and yet you are still working steady toward the finish line.

So few without all those things needing their time ever stick it out and finish.
