The Honourable Miss Xavia Lyon is asked to value a journal owned by the deceased archaeologist Dr Matheson Michaels. However, the journal reveals that Dr Michaels smuggled a fabulous Mayan jade mask into the country and has hidden it somewhere. If it can be found, the value of Dr Michaels' estaste goes up from a few million to tens of millions of pounds.
Miss Lyon agrees to find the mask on behalf of the heirs, but someone wants the mask for themselves and will do all they can to stop finding it.
